Code-named Captain Grey, Bradley Holden is the real name of this Spectrum agent who was born in Chicago on March 4, 2033.
Educated at the World Naval Academy at San Diego, Grey gained degrees in navigation, aqua-technology and computer control. On graduating, he immediately enrolled in the submarine service attached to the World Navy and was stationed at Sydney, Australia.
Grey was trained as an officer and given command of a World Navy submarine. On several assignments, Grey's brilliant tactics, cool reaction in tight situations, tremendous valour, his quick thinking and alertness saved the lives of his crew and his submarine from falling into enemy hands.
But with the coming of the World Aquanaut Security Patrol, Grey was transferred and promoted to Security Commander of this new organisation. He was put in charge of the prototype submarine vessel which was later to become Stingray. In command of this sleek craft, Grey was a true credit to the new service, and his daring campaigns against the threatening underwater enemies were far greater than those of his successor, Troy Tempest.
Two years later his brilliant reputation in active service and his superb handling of security had reached the eyes of Spectrum and Grey was accepted in the organisation as a field agent.
Captain Grey has all the right qualities associated with the Spectrum agents. Cool handling of tough situations, quick thinking, alertness and fast reactions and an uncanny anticipation of impending danger. Off duty, Grey is dedicated to his hobby... swimming. And he spends hours in the Spectrum swimming pool developing new styles and strokes. At this moment he is carrying out research into miniaturisation of aqualung diving gear.
