Born in 2038, Troy was educated at the World Naval Academy at San Diego and joined the submarine service at the age of 18. After showing outstanding bravery in many actions he was given command of Stingray.

Thirty-one year oid George Lee Sheridan was born in South Carolina. Radio became his first love and he soon was nicknamed 'Phones.' Became Hydro­phone Operator in the W.A.S.P.'s at the suggestion of Troy Tempest.

Christened Samuel Arthur, Commander Shore was born in Kansas in 2015. Ran away to sea at an early age and after joining the navy gained rapid promotion until he was given the great task of commanding Wasp H.Q., at Marineville.
